Permission To Use Summer Sounds Releases

Summer Sounds aims to make it easy for creators to feature and promote our music across social media platforms. You do not need to request permission for standard usage. Instead, please follow the guidelines below to ensure proper and respectful use of our artists’ work.

Because of song theft, we unfortunately had to take certain measures that could lead to demonitization of your YouTube video. Please reach out to us if you are experiencing problems with this, and we will try to resolve this.

Usage Guidelines

  1. Do not re-upload tracks in their entirety without adding meaningful additional content. Using the full track as background music or within a mix/set is permitted.

  2. Provide proper credit to the artist. Please include at least one of the artist’s social media or streaming links in your video description. Recommended priority:

    1. YouTube
    2. Spotify
    3. SoundCloud
    4. Instagram

  3. Include a link to a Summer Sounds Network media page in your video description (YouTube or SoundCloud).

  4. Do not upload individual tracks to SoundCloud unless they are part of a mix or DJ set.

  5. Do not use our music outside of social media platforms (e.g., for commercials, apps, games, films, or other commercial uses) without prior written permission. You may request this by contacting us via email.

  6. Do not use our music in explicit, hateful, harmful, or political content. Please respect the integrity of the artists and the brand.
